EBS Bad Gastein
Welcome to EBS Bad Gastein
Our #EBSBadGastein bartending school offers a super exclusive, once a year course which takes place just before the skiing season starts in the Alps. This means there is limited availability so you have to be fast to get on the “coolest” course of the year.
At some point during your course, managers from bars and nightclubs in and around the Bad Gastein, Wagrain and St Johann areas will come to check out your skills in the school at an EBS MatchStaff hosted event. This is a brilliant opportunity for you to leave a lasting impression on them and hopefully get a job after the course. What better way to kick-start your bartending career than with an unforgettable working holiday in the snow?
Everything at #EBSBadGastein is under one roof, the training facility, accommodation and even a nightclub! This means you can roll out of bed and into class, hit the slopes straight after school and then party long into the night…all in the same place!
Bad Gastein is a renowned skiing and spa town, situated in the beautiful Hohe Tauern National Park, in the heart of Salzburg province. The Bad Gastein Valley contains fantastic slopes for skiing/snowboarding and has plenty of chair and gondola lifts to get around the different slopes. It doesn’t matter if you’re a skiing expert or a novice, you will love the Bad Gastein slopes.
After your adrenaline-pumping days in the snow, why not take time out and relax in one of the stunning thermal spring spas! There are multiple spas in the area, but the Felsentherme Thermal Bath is located less than 5 minutes from the school and is definitely worth a visit! The spa offers multiple spa treatments and the outdoor hot water pools are open all year round! Forget any spa day you’ve ever had, this is a truly unique and unforgettable experience, swimming in natural hot water pool whilst surrounded by snowy mountains.
The town has an enchanting feeling about it due to its traditional buildings, breath-taking scenery and the local emblem, the Bad Gastein waterfall. The waterfall is situated in the centre of town and is made up of 3 tiers and plunges from a height of 341 metres!
Bad Gastein is connected to other Austrian cities like Vienna, Linz, Salzburg and Graz. There are EuroCity and InterCity trains that pass through the town frequently, leaving you with no excuse to not explore the rest of Austria!
